Our EV Charging App
Plug in and get charging via our new EV charging app. Fast. Easy. Personalised.
How do I find charge points?
Go to map in the App on your phone. It will show charge points near you, or you can use the search icon to search the area you need.
Each charge point pin on the map will show as green (available to use), blue (currently in use), or red (unavailable at present).
Tap on the pin for a convenient charger to see it’s name, and tap again to see it’s location address and further details.
How do I charge my car?
Just plug in the lead to your car and the charge unit, then follow easy steps to charge by holding your key fob where directed or following the instructions on your phone.
If you have any issues call the 24/7 customer helpline and they will be happy to help you.
How do I pay ?
Once you have installed the EV Driver app, registered, and added your payment card, your account will be debited ONLY when you charge.
The app also shows the nearest available charging stations, cost of charge and type.
Request an EV Driver RFID Fob
If you would prefer to use one of our handy RFID Key Fobs to charge your vehicle rather than the app, you can request one by calling us on 01394 799 799 or via the EV Driver mobile app. The first Key Fob is FREE, any additional one’s are £8.
Please note: you must be registered on the EV Driver Network and have added a payment card within the app in order for an RFID Key Fob to be programmed accordingly.
Activating Your RFID Key Fob
If you have already received your RFID Key Fob in the post it is automatically activated and ready for you to start charging. You do not have to do anything else. If the are any problems with it, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If you got your Key Fob at an event or from one of our partners
If you got one of our RFID Key Fobs at en event, you will need to fill in the form below with your name, the e-mail address you used to sign up to the EV Driver Network and the 3 digit code on the back of your Fob. We will then notify you via e-mail when your Key Fob has been activated.
How long does it take?
This will depend on the size of your on-board charger and the type of charge unit, most of our AC units are 22kw dual sockets and the DC rapid chargers are 50kw. So if your car can charge at 22kw AC it will take 1 hour to gain 22kw*.
*This will depend on the state of charge of your car at the time. More detailed information regarding charge rates of cars can be found on Leccy’s very informative site.
