With the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) you can get support towards the upfront costs of the purchase and installation.

Grant funding
The big difference between Workplace Charging Scheme WCS and the home scheme is that you do not need to own an EV to apply. The scheme is designed to encourage you and your employees to make the switch to an EV easily in the knowledge that you charge it at work and right now the Government is offering grants of 75% towards the cost of installing workplace electric charge points.
The grant allows you to claim grant funded assistance for up to 40 sockets across your business locations. There are some basic questions regarding your business, such as company ID, number of employees and as the grant operates under De Minimus State Aid regulations you will be asked about aid received in the last 2 fiscal years and as such the business needs to make the application not the installer.
OLEV also recommends that all applicants have a site survey with an authorised installer ahead of applying. This really helps as we can discuss the best options for your business and also ensure that the electrical capacity of the site(s) can support the number of sockets applied for.
